Privacy
What we store
- Scan results — the addresses tested, the rules that failed, and the markup of failing elements.
- Your email address, if you sign in or buy something.
- A rate-limiting counter keyed to your IP address, so the free scanner cannot be abused. It holds a count and a timestamp.
- Aggregate event records — that a scan started, that a purchase happened.
What we do not store
- Analytics or advertising trackers. There are none on this site.
- Full page content from scanned sites — only the markup of elements that failed a rule.
- Card details. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see them.
Cookies
One cookie, set only if you sign in, holding a signed session identifier. No third-party cookies and no tracking. That is why there is no consent banner.
Reports
Reports live at an unguessable address and are excluded from search engines via
robots.txt and a noindex directive. Anyone with the link can open one, so
treat the link as the secret. Ask us and we will delete any report.
Retention
Anonymous scan results are kept for 90 days. Reports belonging to an account are kept while the account is open. Rate-limit counters roll over within 24 hours.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Email hello@perceivable.eu and we will act within 30 days.
